Institution Profile
MSVU celebrates its 150th year of excellence! Established in 1873, we have a mandate to nurture socially responsible citizens of the world. Women and men from across 80 countries take advantage of our distinctive programs, unique sense of community and personalized approach to learning. We are nationally recognized as a leader in distance and experiential learning, for our small class sizes, for our legacy in the advancement of women and for facilitating critical advancements in food security, healthy aging, literacy and childhood development. We're also home to Atlantic Canda's longest-standing co-operative education program; in fact, students have the opportunity to gain work experience throughout their studies.
